As I’m unable to serve noodles during August, I’m cycling for this good cause.

In Africa, the halting of tourism is threatening the many peoples livelihoods and the continents iconic wildlife. Rangers are the first line of defence to protect endangered specialises but in many places, there is no longer the funding for them.

I am proud to be joining the African Travel Industry in raising funds to support African Rangers and wildlife by joining #Ride4Rangers. I’ll be cycling throughout August to raise funds, and hopefully in part joining part of the Ride4Rangers LEJOG (Lands End to John O’Groats) ride. Together we are hoping to cycle a total of 30,000 km – the equivalent of cycling around Africa.

All funds raised will go towards supporting the salaries and deployment of African Rangers during this crisis. Tusk is aiming to support 5,000 rangers over the next 6-9 months and has been established with generous match-funding, doubling the impact of every penny given.

For over 30 years, Tusk has helped pioneer a range of successful conservation initiatives across more than 20 African countries, safeguarding millions of hectares of ecosystems, empowering local communities and increasing protection for some of the continent’s most treasured threatened species.

Please support me and Tusk in helping the Rangers by adding donation to my JustGiving page at you can also check this page to see how far I have ridden.

Please don’t forget to sign up for the Gift Aid as that adds 25% to the donation.

For every £ you give, a private donor will match your donation.

Many thanks for your help
